QHSE Officer, London

We are currently working with a shipping company that operates in the tanker market that would like to bring in an HSEQ Officer to their team in London.

As HSEQ Officer you will provide expert ongoing advice on all HSEQ matters, playing a key role in actively promoting and enforcing the company safety culture and standards aboard all vessels and offices. Ensuring the overall safety compliance and quality assurance of the fleet of vessels allocated to you. This is an exciting opportunity to join a secure global business that leads its industry with a growing fleet size.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following experience/skillset:

Sailed to Chief Officer or above.
OR have a shipping-related degree and a wealth of shore-based experience in this field.
Onshore experience within an HSEQ department
Familiarisation with ECDIS, ISM, and ISO standards and codes
Lead Auditor qualification would be an advantage

Bunker Operator – Europe

We are currently partnered with a major international supplier and trader of bunker fuels globally who are in the process of a major expansion project. Part of this is to bring a Bunker Operator into their team in multiple locations in Europe.

Our client are pioneers in the bunker space and have made big strides ahead of the market in entering the digital space and with their carbon offset platform. They are looking at more physical locations globally as part of their wider growth which will further establish them as the major international supplier of bunker fuel.

This is a great opportunity for a Bunker Operator to join a growing and high-performance team to oversee regional bunkering operations. Our client is ideally looking for someone with 2 or more years’ relevant industry experience, knowledge on bunker qualities, proficiency in latest MPS bunkering guidelines and ability to establish good working relationships.

HSEQ Coordinator, London

We are currently partnered with a major ship owner to help them find a HSEQ Coordinator to join their team in London.

The role will involve planning, co-ordinating, record keeping, data administration, validation and analysis in relation to QHSE matters.

To fit the team you will need to be professional with a strong attribute to data administration and analysis, have good communication skills, the ability to multi task and have a high level of teamworking. Any prior experience in Health, Safety and Environmental roles would be advantageous.

Technical Assistant (Graduate), London

Spinnaker Global are looking for a Technical Assistant to join a well established shipping company based in London.

Within this role, you will provide administrative assistance to the General Manager and the Technical Manager for the selected fleet.

You will maintain records, reports, and data for the fleet of vessels and arrange services, this would include maintaining dry docking files and maintaining survey status reports and ship certificates.

This role would be best suited to someone who is early on in their career, recently finished an intern, or had some work experience in shipping and holds a shipping degree.
