Claims Executive (Non-qualified) – London

A leading provider of insurance to the transport industry is looking for a Claims Executive to join them in London.
Providing an efficient, cost effective claims handling service, you will be responsible for delivering specific and general advice appropriate to the needs of the insured as well as handling the claims from start to finish.

Claims Executive (Fixed Premium) – London

An international marine insurer is looking to bolster their fixed premium claims team in London.
Main duties will include, but are not limited to, handling a high volume of claims for both owners and charterers, as well as mentoring, supervising and managing colleagues as required.
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience of working in the maritime industry and will ideally have a legal education background, although please note you do not need to be a qualified lawyer to be considered. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small P&I claims team in London.
The role will involve a mix of P&I and FD&D claims, as well as a mix of mutual and fixed premium files. 
Being a small team, you will get fantastic exposure to a wide variety of claims from day one. You will also be responsible for overseeing a junior claims handler, so will ideally have at least 8 years’ experience to date. 
Experience handling FD&D claims previously is essential, however you do not need to be a qualified solicitor to be considered for this role.

Executive Assistant – Greece

You will support the MD in all day-to-day administrative matters, including inbox and diary management across multiple time zones, gatekeeping, travel arrangements, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and working closely with the MD’s family’s private PA.

Legal Counsel & Insurance Manager – Europe

An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to join an international and privately owned agri-business as Legal Counsel and Insurance Manager.
This position is ideally to be based in Switzerland, although other European locations can be considered for the right candidate.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company is properly insured in relation to its business risks and liabilities relating to cargo, warehouse and chartering. The role will include the tendering, negotiating and contracting with brokers and insurers. You will also manage the companys claims system and processes and will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all insured cargo and charterers liability claims.
The role will involve liaising closely with the operations and trading teams on complex day-to-day matters and issues. You will also take primary responsibility for pre-litigation contentious matters and related disputes.
This role will suit a lawyer with 5-7 years’ experience, or an experienced senior insurance professional with a good technical and practical working knowledge of English trading and shipping law.

As an in-house Paralegal, you will work closely with the busy legal department, supporting them in transactional activities relating to ship S&P, as well as finance transactions.
To be considered for this role, you must have proved experience as a Paralegal, ideally having worked with transactional matters. It is essential that you have a strong understanding of ship sale & purchase and finances processes.
Candidates must have at least a bachelors degree in law to accompany their work experience to date in order to be considered. UK working entitlement is also essential.
