In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company is properly insured in relation to its business risks and liabilities relating to cargo, warehouse and chartering. You will also manage the companys claims system and processes and will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all insured cargo and charterers liability claims.
 
The role will involve liaising closely with the operations and trading teams on complex day-to-day matters and issues. You will also take primary responsibility for pre-litigation contentious matters and related disputes.
 
This role will suit a lawyer with 5-7 years’ experience, or an experienced senior insurance professional with a good technical and practical working knowledge of English trading and shipping law.
