A global provider of marine insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Executive to join them in their busy Singapore office.

This role will involve managing claims at an advanced level, ensuring consistent delivery of a high level of claims handling service and expertise. You will be developing and maintaining key client relationships and will be the point of contact for many members.

You will have had previous claims handling experience in the maritime industry for at least 5 years. UK qualified Solicitors will also be considered but the emphasis will be placed on the claims handler experience.

It is essential that you have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as strong analytical and organisation skills. You must be able to travel internationally to visit members, brokers and suppliers.

Candidates with existing Singaporean working entitlement will be at an advantage although this is not essential.

In this role you will be handling a wide variety of marine claims, although primarily on the hull & machinery side. As a result, it is important that you have previously worked in a claims environment for at least two years.

It is essential that you have a strong technical knowledge as well as previous claims handling experience. This technical knowledge will come from time spent at sea or in a surveying or other shore-based technical role.

We are seeking a Placing & Administration Specialist to join an independent insurance broker in Hamburg.

A large part of this role will involve negotiating during policy renewals, new client interaction and involvement in new coverages. You will be responsible for preparing insurance contract documents and insurance confirmations. You will also be monitoring and coordinating the working process in placements as well as preparing insurance budgets, financial results and accruals.
