We're a bit like a family here at Spinnaker; we're a close-knit team who support each other and we really take an interest in each other's lives. One of our ex-employees, Julie, has made us particularly proud because since leaving us she has gone on to feature in a lot of American press for her staggering weight loss. (We hope these two things are unrelated!)

Julie lost 320lb (that's 136kg, or 21 stone), is now a healthy weight, and she puts her success down to Weight Watchers – and determination – alone. She started a blog, Going, Going, Gone, to track her achievements, and as a result got some well-deserved recognition across various lifestyle website and magazines.

Sadly, after Julie's extreme weight loss she then discovered she had MS (multiple sclerosis), but doctors told her that her future is a bright one thanks to her newfound healthy lifestyle. We’re really proud of Julie, and although she now lives in the US we still keep in touch with her online, and are chuffed to bits to see how well she's done.
