The 2018 Maritime HR Association salary survey is now underway – the survey questionnaire was sent to the Association’s 92 member companies last week.

This global, shore-side survey provides members with access to over 150 jobs at sea across 19 job families, including technical & marine, chartering, commercial operations and crewing as well as corporate departments such as finance, IT and HR.

Three new job families have also been introduced for 2018, these are: Risk & Compliance, Logistics and Customer Service & Documentation.

In 2017, 91 companies participated in the survey, submitting data for more than 22,000 maritime professionals in 97 countries and allowing us to publish salary reports for all the major shipping hubs around the world.
