Senior Chartering Manager- Singapore

Spinnaker is currently partnered with a growing European Owner/ Operator that is looking to establish a commercial presence in the Singapore market. This would be a great opportunity for an established Chartering Manager to be the first on the ground for our client in the Singapore market.
 
In this role the primary responsibility will be to handle their vessels trading in the east in conjunction with their existing teams in Europe and the US. Our client focuses on the Handy-SMX market so it would be important that someone has experience gained within these markets and crucially this person will need to be a self starter that is confident of growing the cargo book to complement their trading.
 
This role would be ideal for someone with circa 8-10 years chartering experience within an Owner/ Operator setup that wants to be the driver of growth for our client in the Singapore market. Potentially this would suit someone working for a larger setup that wants a bit more strategic responsibility and commercial freedom.
 
Candidates would need to be based in Singapore already to be considered for this role.
