A Logistics company based in London who offer integrated sea-based logistics services are looking to hire for their Commercial/Planning department.
 
It will involve the combination of a commercial and operational nature, holding responsiblity to the business’s structure and cargo handling activity.
 
Responsibilities:

• Studying and analysing data whilst contributing into the creation and maintenance of in-house innovations, reports, business intelligence including statistics/tools/dashboards.
• Involved with vessel space/configuration, guiding booking offices worldwide to the effective practical application agenda. 
• Indentify optimum cargo evacuation strategies suiting fixed liner services. 
• Create and maintain reporting tools.
• Monitor bookings and forecasting trends.
• Indentify imbalances between available cargo against capacity.
• Participate to weekly schedules and service meetings, supporting commerical departments. 

What we need from you.. 

• Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability.
• Advanced PC / MS office user / Power Query & Power BI would be an advantage. 
• Advanced Excel skills is an Essential. 
• Able to analyse data and market trends experience.
