The Opportunity

Role Requirements

• 5-10 years of proven experience in dry bulk vessel operations
• Specific expertise with Supramax vessels is essential
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational challenges and emergency situations
• Strong knowledge of charter parties, voyage estimations, and post-fixture operations
• Leadership capabilities with experience supervising operational teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
• Comprehensive understanding of maritime regulations and industry best practices

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:

• Function as the Deputy to the Head of Operations, assuming full leadership in their absence
• Oversee the daily operations of the company’s dry bulk fleet
• Manage vessel scheduling, cargo operations, and port calls
• Liaise with charterers, agents, and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Monitor voyage performance and implement efficiency improvements
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior operators
• Contribute to operational strategy development
