About the Opportunity:
On behalf of our client, a respected Shipmanagement company, we are recruiting an experienced Technical Superintendent with offshore support vessels.

Join a team committed to the highest safety and operational standards. You will ensure offshore support vessels operate safely, efficiently, and compliantly, managing technical support, maintenance, and repairs.

The Role:

As Technical Superintendent, you will be the technical lead for assigned vessels, focusing on optimal performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities include:

• Managing vessel maintenance (including CMMS accuracy and dry-dock planning) and repairs to minimise downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with Class, Flag, Company requirements, and industry best practice.
• Conducting vessel visits, technical audits, and managing onboard senior teams.
• Overseeing vessel budgets and spare parts inventory.
• Investigating technical failures and implementing lessons learned.
• Supporting new technology rollouts and acting as part of the emergency response team.
• This role requires travel up to 50%.

  
Essential Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Nautical Science.
• Chief Engineer license.
• Senior seagoing experience on offshore support vessels.
• 3+ years of shore-based technical superintendent experience.
• Strong knowledge of vessel systems, maintenance, ISM, Class, and Flag requirements.
• Experience in dry-dock planning and execution.
• Excellent organisational, budget management, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
