Legal Director/Partner (Travel) – London

A leading law firm is seeking a highly experienced Legal Director or Partner to join its Travel and Regulatory practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior legal professional with a strong commercial background in the travel sector—including aviation, tour operations, cruise lines, or similar—to take on a key leadership role.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Advise a broad portfolio of clients across the travel industry on commercial, regulatory, and contractual matters.
• Draft and negotiate booking terms and conditions, supplier agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Provide regulatory guidance relevant to travel businesses, including compliance, licensing, and consumer law.
• Play a strategic role in expanding the firm’s travel practice, including bringing an established client following (preferred).
• Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership and business development efforts in the travel and tourism sector.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with 8+ years PQE. 
• Strong commercial law background, ideally with prior experience advising clients in the travel sector.
• Proven expertise in drafting travel-related contracts, particularly booking terms and conditions.
• Established network or client following within the industry would be highly advantageous.
• Confident, entrepreneurial, and collaborative, with a strong interest in growing a specialist practice.
