QA/Compliance Superintendent – Middle East

A leading shipping organisation is seeking an experienced HSEQ professional with strong maritime credentials to oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Safety Management System across its Middle East-based fleet. The role ensures full compliance with international regulations, Flag State requirements and company standards, whilst driving quality, environmental and occupational health excellence through robust auditing, training and emergency response preparedness.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent Maritime/Shipping qualification, with 8 years’ experience in Occupational Health & Safety including at least 4 years in the oil and gas shipping industry. Extensive knowledge of Environmental Management systems and experience with ISO/ISPS/TMSA/HSSEQ audits is essential, along with a thorough understanding of ISM/ISPS/MLC frameworks and proven ability to foster a strong safety culture onboard vessels.
