This is a strategic role for the right person who understands the maritime defense landscape and can operate effectively at the intersection of government relations, naval procurement, and regional business development.
You are a highly motivated business developer with strong regional ties wanting to delivering strategic maritime defense solutions in Africa.
You will have first-hand experience working with African governments – particularly defense and naval authorities. Existing relationships with key decision-makers in ministries of defense, navies, coast guards, or related agencies across countries such as Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, and others are essential.
An understanding of African cultures, procurement dynamics, and how to build trust-based partnerships will be critical.
In addition to working with government entities, the role will involve engaging private sector companies operating in the maritime domain, including those involved in offshore energy, logistics, and infrastructure, who require naval or paramilitary vessel support for their operations.
The ability to build and tailor defense-related marketing solutions for both public and private clients is key.
