Our client, a well-established shipping company in London, is looking to add an Energy Performance Engineer to their team. This role is responsible for monitoring a fleet of section of vessels for compliance with regulations related to energy efficiency, fuel emissions, and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new technologies and retrofits for improving vessel environmental performance.
  • Prepare plans for vessels to meet energy efficiency and emissions reduction targets.
  • Support technical managers during retrofits and dry dock periods related to energy efficiency upgrades.
  • Communicate with suppliers, class societies, flag states, and internally with technical, operations, and broker teams.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related engineering field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar fleet performance/efficiency role.
  • Strong computer skills for data analysis and reporting (proficiency in Microsoft tools or similar).
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-performing team environment.
