Our client, a leading global shipping company, is looking for an experienced Marine Purchaser to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career with a renowned organization in the maritime industry.

As the Marine Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality parts and spares for the fleet in a cost and time efficient manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process for the assigned fleet
  • Providing purchasing guidance and identifying cost-effective suppliers
  • Coordinating logistics to connect orders to vessels
  • Monitoring supplier performance and renegotiating contracts
  • Processing invoices and managing variances
  • Maintaining procurement systems and records

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a maritime purchasing or procurement role, with strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Marine engineering or procurement qualifications are desirable. Commercial acumen, analytical thinking and communication skills are essential.

The company offers a competitive salary along with bonus and benefits but is unable to accommodate hybrid working arrangements currently.
