We are working with a growing ocean transportation and logistics company who are seeking a Sales Director to be based in Florida.
Taking on this position, you will be responsible for defining a well-structured sales process, to manage and develop existing relationship, as well a build and develop brand new ones.
You will also manage the existing sales team, and its future growth.
As an individual, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to interact with people on all levels, in varying situations.
Your mindset will be fully commercial, able to spot opportunity in every situation, and develop new avenues of revenue.
With the target market being the Caribbean, you will ideally have a knowledge of the nuances in operating in this region.
Shipping and ocean-going transportation experience, is not essential but would be advantageous.
Ultimately, you will know how to sell a service, communicate across all levels, manage a team, and develop processes.

Travel will be expected in this role in the region of 25-50%.
For this position you will need to be situated in Miami. Therefore, the ability to live and work in the United States is required.
