We have partnered with an ocean shipping and transportation company based in Montreal to find their next Finance Manager.
Reporting to the CFO, this international organise seek an individual to oversee and direct the shipping accounting functions; accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury and credit department across Canada.
Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, the implementation and monitoring of AP, AR, general ledger and credit. You will have overall supervision and accountability of the FI department; ensuring cost is controlled and revenue is collected.
You will manage day-to-day employee relations in the department as well as liase with external auditors and global head office.
You will also be a “SAP Key User” for training and system optimisation within the department.
In Summary you will have:
• Experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Understanding of, or experience in a shipping or logistics company.
• Experience in supervising or managing a team.
• SAP Experience
We seek candidates based in, or willing to relocate to Montreal. Existing Canadian citizenship, or right to work in Canada is required.
