Spinnaker have partnered with a Singaporean Headquartered shipping company, expanding their business into Denmark with an office in Copenhagen.
They are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR and Administration Manager to join their global HR team and harmonise operational procedures in Singapore with local Danish policies.
You will be the go to person in Denmark to guide and advise all office staff on HR matters and be responsible for the management of the office.
As the HR and Administration Manager you will be the first port of call for all matters relating to employment law in Denmark, pension regulations, personal taxation, recruitment, staff development, performance reviews, compensation & benefits and salary benchmarking.
Ensuring the office runs smoothly and effectively will be your responsibility covering facilities management, arranging for various insurance such as medical and contents insurance. Health and Safety regulations, lease agreements, hotel booking and travel arrangement will all fall under your varied and busy role.
Reporting directly to the office in Singapore, you will also work closely with counterparts in other global locations. Ultimately you will be responsible for the office in Denmark.
This role requires an individual with a minimum of five years’ experience within a Human Resources function and you will also have a formal qualification or degree in HR practice.
Knowledge in Danish Employment law, and a track record of keeping up to date with the latest legislation is a must have.
You will need to draw upon your experience of managing an office to succeed in this role along with having oversight of payroll, being proficient in Microsoft Excel and HRIS.
Fluency in English and Danish is required.
Experience in maritime is not essential, yet will be highly desirable.
