Spinnaker has been exclusively retained to partner with a modern and highly successful ferry operator, travel and leisure company to recruit a part-time Risk and Audit Director.
This business-critical role will see you work closely with the executive leadership team, and support the business by taking ownership for the intense scrutiny of all aspects of risk and compliance across the business. You will thrive in an environment where you can use your curious nature to investigate, as well as ask difficult questions to monitor compliance.
Utilising your board level experience and ability to build trust at all levels within a maritime or industrial/logistics environment, you’ll ensure that legal, financial and regulatory compliance is maintained within all processes and procedures across the business.
You’ll also develop, implement, promote and maintain the company’s enterprise risk management strategy, in line with achieving overall business success. Particular attention will be given to health, safety and quality performance and the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance) compliance.
With your ability to use diplomacy and tact in influencing behaviours, providing guidance and giving strategic direction, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s performance within all aspects of operating a safe and compliant domestic ferry fleet.
