Our client, an international shipping company, are seeking a qualified lawyer to join the legal team in London.

This is a varied legal role that requires legal advice on shipping and also some corporate issues that arise from their fleet of 100 vessels. No two days will be the same as will involve offering advice on charterparties, buying/selling bonds, P&I, finance, corporate, anti-fraud, shareholder agreements, compliance, transactional matters and some dispute resolution (training provided if required as this is a broad role). Thankfully, there are limited disputes as the legal team work hard to mitigate risk to avoid claims by analysing risk strategy.

They’re open to hybrid working and have excellent onsite facilities including a gym and onsite café.
