Are you a UK-qualified Solicitor with a strong shipping or commercial litigation background? We are currently looking to recruit just such an individual to work for a leading IG P&I Club as an FD&D Solicitor, based in Singapore.

To be considered, you must have a strong academic background and significant experience of English law shipping disputes, including some FD&D matters.

The successful applicant will be expected to manage a large number of cases, acting for ship owners and charterers in pursuing and defending a wide range of shipping claims in both arbitration and litigation worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a flexible attitude, excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across business areas and throughout the organisation. A team player, you will also have the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail.

The Club has a global presence, with this position being based out of their busy Singapore office.
