Head of Business Development – UK
A newly created position to lead a new business development team.
You’ll join the market leaders in ship inspection services. A forward-thinking organisation using state of the art digital technologies, frameworks and solutions.
Your role as Head of Business Development will be to grow, develop, lead and structure a new Business Development team.
You’ll be tasked with driving growth, building a pipeline of opportunities primarily in the ship owning, ship finance and sale and purchase market for condition inspections.
As Senior member of the team you’ll contribute to the overall strategy of business growth, and the development of new products and services.
Leading the team, you’ll be driving the sales culture, developing a detailed plan, setting and managing budgets with full accountability for spend.
To succeed, you’ll have knowledge and understanding of the ship Sale and Purchase, Maritime Finance, or the Conditions Inspection Markets.
You’ll know how ships are bought and sold, invested, or divested and the associate risks of owning a ship, ship management or trading.
This company operate a remote first approach to work, and this role offers hybrid working with regular presence required in Cardiff.
