We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Manager for a Shipping company in the UK. The company specialises in the day-to-day management of a commercial fleet of ships.

You will be responsible for the ongoing management and stability of the global supply chain for companies Marine Division (Stores, Spares, Technical, and Repairs) for a fleet of vessels.

You will be responsible for optimizing the supplier performance, quality, and pricing outcomes; effective planning and risk reduction; tangible cost-savings; developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships; commercially astute negotiation and contract management; and effective team leadership, which will be critical to the success of this role.

You will have 8+ years of experience in a managerial or regional role.
