Spinnaker has been instructed to source a Head of Legal in Dubai on behalf of a well-known ship owner.

This is a senior role that reports directly into the CEO. The shipping company has a fleet of owned tanker vessels with plans to increase the fleet in the coming years. There are line management responsibilities along with varied inhouse legal duties such as ship S&P, charterparty disputes, ship registration, ship arrests, compliance and regulatory due diligence, plus sanctions advice. This role would suit a senior lawyer that is keen to be part of the wider organisation.

In return the ship owner is offering relocation assistance, competitive salary, bonus and medical insurance.
