We are currently working with one of the major international operators in the drybulk/ project cargo market with a large fleet of open hatch carriers who’re in the process of recruiting an experienced Chartering Manager for their team in Singapore

This hire will be responsible for the commercial management of the company assets, ensuring the vessels are competitively fixed as well as strategically developing new customer relations and generating new accounts and revenue streams.

It will be essential that you have proven commercial experience within the shipping industry and a strong awareness of contractual clauses to complement the core commercial skills necessary to be a successful Chartering Manager. Ideally you will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally gained in the project cargo/ bulk/ breakbulk markets.
