Our client, a leading mutual organisation in the marine industry, are looking to fill a gap in their Loss Prevention team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in managing the quality of entered tonnage by coordinating and managing condition surveys. This includes evaluating the physical condition of vessels, shipboard operations, and management.

You will work closely with the Underwriters, Members, and the global network of surveyors to schedule and manage these surveys. Additionally, you will provide support to the Loss Prevention team by producing technical documents and guidance for Members and the wider marine industry, preparing presentations for training seminars and industry conferences.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have exceptional organisational and analytical skills. You will be responsible for organising and analysing data, as well as coordinating team activities and acting as the first point of contact for the Loss Prevention Department.

Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinating and managing condition surveys to ensure the quality of entered tonnage
– Evaluating the physical condition of vessels, shipboard operations, and management
– Working closely with Underwriters, Members, and global network of surveyors to schedule and manage surveys
– Producing technical documents and guidance for Members and the wider marine industry
– Preparing presentations for training seminars and industry conferences
– Organising and analysing data
– Coordinating team activities and acting as first point of contact for the Loss Prevention Department

Qualifications:
– Strong organisational and analytical skills
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Chief Officer or Master Mariner on board Tankers

UK working entitlement is required.
