We are currently partnered with one of the worlds largest RORO ocean carrier companies who are looking to hire a Senior Freight and Logistics Officer to join their team in their headquarters in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:
– Suggest solutions for process optimization
– Act as a voice of the customers within the organisation
– Providing solutions to sales and customers
– Identifying growth opportunities with a high level of commercial, technical/operational and market understanding
– Working closely with key accounts
– Working with ops teams to manage efficient cargo flow
– Ensure relations with external companies and services
– Establish programs for developing supplier relationships, negotiations, performance measurement/feedback
– Oversee stock control
– Deliver solutions to logistics problems

Requirements
– 5-10 years’ experience in forwarding, logistics or liner business
– Preferable gained within the Car Carrier market
– Can consider an operations background in a liner or logistics set up
– Previous experience in a multinational company is advantageous
– Proven sales track record, demonstrating strong market knowledge
– Fluent in English, written and spoken
