We are currently working with a growing ship owner/ operator with a fleet of circa 75 ships that have a combination of both tankers and bulkers. Our client is currently looking to expand their operations team with the hire of a Commercial Operator preferably with chemical tanker experience to take responsibility for operating circa 8-10 vessels at any one time.

Whilst chemical experience would be a plus this presents a unique opportunity to be commercially responsible for both bulk and tanker assets. They have a very diverse fleet with chem carriers, MRs, Afras, LPG carriers, bulk carriers and unlike competitors they encourage their Operators to handle a mix of vessel types so for an experienced Operator that is looking to diversify the assets they are responsible for this would be a great opportunity.

This role would be ideally suited to Operators that are able to handle circa 8-10 vessels independently so this will likely be Operators with 3+ years of experience gained in either bulk or tanker operations.
