An international commodity group is looking for a Claims Manager to join them in their Singapore office.

As part of a team, you will be responsible for handling disputes that may arise from day to day Operational issues, as well as advising the global teams on appropriate actions/responses. You will also handle day to day queries on Charterparties, escalating them to Legal/Insurance where needed.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially minder lawyer with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a maritime environment. Individuals who have previously sailed and then worked ashore in claims roles will also be considered.

It is essential that you have a commercial mindset and are able to work both individually and part of a team across different time zones.

Candidates with existing Singapore PR or individuals based in Singapore currently will be at an advantage.
