We have a great new opportunity for a Demurrage Claims Analyst to join a well-established international trading company based in London.

Our client is looking for an experienced, pro-active and meticulous individual to manage the filing of all demurrage claims, submit, review and counter claims from suppliers and receivers based on S&P contracts or charter parties, and to gather data and conduct analysis of demurrage claim progress on a regular basis.

As an intrinsic part of this company, you will also be working alongside your team members to reduce company receivables and to provide cover for other team members during busy and holiday periods.

Suitable candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, as well as UK working entitlement and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will also have experience working in a ship owning environment or trading house dealing with time charter claims, or alternatively will have worked for an oil major.
