Our client is looking for a Head of Marine Operations based in the Middle East.

You will be responsible for directing safe and efficient marine operations in the port. You will also lead marine emergency operations in coordination with other responding entities.

The candidate must possess varied experience within the shipping industry; of which some must be in foreign going sea experience, preferably in oil tankers.

Candidates must have experience as a marine pilot, within Maritime/Ports industries and Pilotage and Towage Operations, including maritime safety, risks management and incident investigation.

Candidates must also possess a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner) or recognized Marine Operations Degree.
