An international marine insurer is looking for an experienced underwriting technician to join them in London.

You will be responsible for supporting the Underwriting team with technical and administrative duties and will also be providing support to Members and Brokers where required.

You will also oversea Underwriting Technicians and be the middle point of contact between them and Senior Underwriters.

This role is suited for someone who is prepared to be in it for the mid to long term. Further studies, such as ACII, will be supported. The person will also have exposure to attending meetings with the Underwriters and will have a weekly technical meeting with the Senior Underwriters who discuss and present their present portfolio.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally from a P&I environment but those from the wider marine or energy sectors will certainly be considered.
