Customer Support Specialist (Accounting)

Our client is looking for a highly motivated, organized and service minded new colleague to join our Customer Transaction team in Hong Kong as Customer Support Specialist.

The Customer Transactions Team delivers fast service with high quality to support customers in Asia. You will be a key member of a vibrant and international team where you will mainly maintain a client portfolio, allocate and enter incoming insurance payments, as well as monitor and distribute all incoming payments from our bank.

Responsibilities in this role:
• Payment collection, dunning and bookkeeping.
• Follow up Customers’ accounts and outstandings.
• Know Your Customer/Sanctions checks.
• Respond to customer queries.
• Enter and maintain client/broker information and policy/premium
• data.
• Produce and distribute insurance and invoice documentation.
• Other administrative tasks in support of Underwriting.

Personal Specification:
• A structured approach to work, with strong attention to detail.
• A quick learner of systems and procedures.
• Excellent skills using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• A team player with an improvement mindset.
• Can work under pressure, is proactive and self-driven.
• Positive and service-oriented.
• Cultural awareness and able to work with people in an international environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English. Mandarin/Cantonese/Japanese might be considered as an advantage.
