An international oil and gas company is looking to employ a Shipping Operator to join their offices based in London.

As Shipping Operator you will be joining the Products team. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining records, issuing voyage orders, preparing stowage plans and liaising with shipping agents on loading and discharge.

In this role you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and liaising with internal and external contacts including agents, brokers, charterers and traders. Other duties will include some accounting duties relating to freight costs and insurance.

The right candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in demurrage claims and have a desire to become an operator within the product tanker market, namely gasoil, jetoil or diesel. Excellent communication skills with fluent spoken and written English is essential.
