We are currently partnered with a freshly launched shipping venture that will be servicing a major commodity group as they bring shipping in house. Our client is looking to add a Bunker Manager to their team that will work in close coordination with Chartering and Operations department ensuing the physical procurement of bunkers globally drawing upon a solid list or reliable suppliers.

This is a great opportunity for a current Bunker Manager or Trader to join a highly ambitious new setup as one of their founding members of the shipping team working closely with their Head of Bunkers.

You will be responsible for:

Purchasing physical bunker fuel globally
Handling trade documentation
Managing quantity, quality and demurrage claims
Assist bunker team in establishing digital platform for live pricing used internally and externally

To apply for this role you will need to have 3+ years experience either in house as a Bunker Manager or Trader. An active interest in analytics and data will be an advantage but ultimately our client is focusing predominantly on the procurement skills and someone that will fit well within the existing team and crucially someone that is keen to be a driver of growth and build something long term.
