Procurement & Supply Chain Manager – Middle East

Our client is looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to join their team in the Middle East.

The role involves overseeing the subcontracting process from pre-qualification to project completion, ensuring compliance with HSE requirements. Responsibilities include evaluating subcontractors, developing bidders’ lists, managing the quotation process, facilitating bid evaluations, executing contracts, resolving disputes, managing changes, maintaining documentation, and promoting QHSES initiatives. The role also includes being the main contact for subcontractors’ commercial and contractual matters and providing regular reports to manager.
  
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

Qualifications: 
-Bachelor’s Degree in a Construction, Engineering or business-related field or the equivalent experience.

Fluent Arabic speaker required
  
Experience:
-A minimum of 10 years prior engineering and construction Industry work experience
-10 years of prior procurement / Materials Management experience including subcontract administration/ Quantity surveyor experience of which 2 years directly concerned with Offshore engineering including subcontracts administration.
– 3 years experience in a relevant management level position 
  
Skills:
  
The individual excels in accomplishing objectives, they possess expertise in contracting strategies, principles, and procedures, particularly in engineering and construction practices related to contract development and administration. Their ability to manage multiple projects, effective communication skills, problem-solving proficiency, and strong decision-making make them a valuable asset. They are also a result-oriented negotiator and proficient in MS Office applications, with a focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
