Senior Chartering Manager- Singapore/ Dubai

Spinnaker

We are currently partnered with a international global group of companies with a Commodities Trading division that focuses on Cementitious products such as Clinker, Cement, Limestone, GBFS, GGBFS, Coal etc with annual volumes stands at 12+ Mio tons and volumes continues to grow. We are looking for a Senior Chartering Manager to take over existing portfolio form a chartering standpoint.

This role can be based out of either Singapore or Dubai dependent on the preferences of the individual and will work in tandem with another experienced Charterer based out of Europe. It is worth noting the the freight team does not run on it’s own P&L and is more of a support function to the commodity traders. The role would be ideal for someone that has worked for both a ship owner and a ship broker. Our client is of the opinion that this combination of perspectives would work perfectly for their requirements. The role itself will report into the COO of the organization.

There would be potential for this person to develop into a Head of Chartering function once their volumes increase and there is more of a need for a small team.
