We’re looking for a Day Engineer to take care of a 35m superyacht based out of Hong Kong. 

Returning home daily, there may be some overnight stays or special trips which are planned in advance.

This position is open to international candidates who would like to relocate to Hong Kong. 

You’ll be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring the ship’s propulsion systems, including engines, turbines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment. Ensure that all systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  Performing regular maintenance and repair tasks on the ship’s machinery and equipment.
• Maintain safety equipment, conduct safety drills, and prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as fires, leaks, or equipment failures.
• Manage the ship’s fuel and energy consumption, optimizing fuel efficiency, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation related to the ship’s machinery and systems.
• Work closely with other crew members, including deck officers, other engineers, and technicians, to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that arise.
• Ensuring that the vessel complies with maritime regulations.
• Identifying and troubleshooting technical issues that may arise during the ship’s operations.

You will have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marine Engineering
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as an Engineer working with superyachts.
