We are looking for an Vessel Performance Analyst to join a shipping company based in London. You will be joining a team to help improve the performance and efficiency of a global fleet. In this role, you will analyze vessel data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to reduce fuel consumption and emissions.
  
Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze fleet performance metrics, including speed, fuel use, and emissions
• Develop and track key performance indicators related to vessel optimization
• Ensure fleet compliance with emissions regulations and reporting requirements
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports summarizing fleet optimization progress
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and retrofits to improve vessel efficiency
• Work closely with operations team to optimize voyage plans and routing
• Maintain records and documentation of optimization initiatives and outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 2+ years experience in ship performance analysis or optimization
• Knowledge of international maritime regulations and emissions standards
• Proficiency with analytics and performance monitoring platforms
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
• Project management and organizational skills
• Proactive approach to exploring optimization opportunities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
