A leading ship services company based in Cyprus is seeking a Crewing Superintendent to join their office based in Cyprus.
Being responsible for all the crewing matters for vessels assigned to you, tasks will include the recruitment and training of appropriate crew members. Training, travel, administration and liaison with manning agents will also fall under your remit.

Preference will be given to candidate already based in Cyprus and being able to speak Greek is highly desired.

The Director of Crewing will have overall accountability for developing and executing the crewing strategy (Crewing Operations, Marine HR, Training, and Manning Offices), as well as the day-to-day crewing aspects of the fleet.
Previous experience as a Director of Crewing or similar for a fleet c.100 would be an advantage.

Our client, a leading vessel owner in the GCC, are currently looking for a Head of Marine Personnel.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in crewing with preferably 5 years experience management experience. You will be responsible for reviewing crew related contracts, including budgeting and identifying cost saving strategies. You will also monitor trends and cause of accidents and incidents, developing company strategy to reduce occurrences. You will also be responsible for training seafarers in relation to accidents and monitoring labour market conditions.
Experience in a similar role will be ideal, along with strong management skills and an up to date knowledge of maritime labour laws.
