We are seeking to recruit an Owner’s Representative, Sudan for a global liner operator.
In this pivotal role, you will drive business growth, expand our customer base, and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality shipping and logistics services across Sudan. You will act as the strategic link between company headquarters and local operations, safeguarding performance, profitability, and long-term development.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and monitor appointed agencies across shipping and logistics business segments, ensuring strong customer relationships
- Supervise agents’ KPIs, sales and marketing activities to maximize revenue generation
- Develop marketing and operational plans; achieve defined sales and operational objectives
- Supervise vessel and land fleet operations, productivity, scheduling, and cost efficiency for the company in the area
- Track competitor activities and provide market intelligence reports
- Identify and evaluate new business and service opportunities; support feasibility studies and project analysis
- Prepare and manage annual budgets; exercise strict budgetary control
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in the logistics sector with demonstrable commercial success
- Strong functional knowledge in air, ocean, and land transport, as well as contract logistics
- In-depth understanding of market dynamics, competitors, trends, and industry challenges
- Strong strategic planning skills with the ability to translate strategy into operational roadmaps
- Excellent coordination and networking skills
