A well-established independent marine insurance brokerage is looking to hire a Yacht Insurance Account Handler to join its growing international team in France.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced insurance professional who enjoys client servicing, policy administration, and working within a specialist marine environment. The successful candidate will support the management of an international portfolio of yacht insurance clients, ensuring a high level of service and smooth day-to-day handling of accounts.
Joining a close-knit and experienced brokerage team, you will work closely with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders to support the servicing and administration of yacht insurance programmes. The role offers the opportunity to develop specialist knowledge within the yacht insurance market while working within an international environment.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer a portfolio of international yacht insurance clients.
  • Support the production team with policy servicing, renewals, and account administration.
  • Liaise with clients, insurers, and business partners to ensure efficient handling of requests.
  • Prepare, review, and issue policy documentation, endorsements, and related insurance materials.
  • Maintain accurate client records and policy information within internal systems.
  • Monitor policy administration processes and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
  • Assist with client queries and provide ongoing support throughout the insurance lifecycle.
  • Contribute to maintaining high service standards and effective internal communication.

 
Requirements

  • Previous experience within insurance, ideally within broking, underwriting, or account handling.
  • Experience within marine or yacht insurance would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Fluent English and French, both written and spoken, are required.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Professional approach with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
