Monique Turner

Senior Business Development Consultant

Monique joined Spinnaker in January 2022 as a Business Development Consultant and was promoted to Senior BD Consultant in April 2024. She works alongside Helen McCaughran on the Business Development team where she is responsible for growing the membership of the Maritime HR Association and Seafarer Employers’ Association, as well as growing attendance to the annual conference and working on the Maritime Leadership Development Programme.

You will always find Monique networking at industry events as she enjoys meeting new people. She finds the feeling of making new connections unmatched to anything else. She loves working with others in the office and coming up with ideas to further improve Spinnaker products and services, such as the annual conference and is always interested in client feedback on the current market and ways we can better our benchmarking associations.

Prior to Spinnaker, Monique worked in sales and recruitment. She has a passion for selling, particularly finding a client’s problem and being able to find a solution.

A fun fact about Monique is that she is a published author! When she was at school, a poem of hers was published in a journal
