A global container shipping and logistics company looking to add to their team in Singapore, seeking a driven Insurance Executive for the groups Insurance interests.
You will play a vital role in shaping the future of global shipping, where you will assist the GGC in managing P&I, H&M, Corporate, Business and Project Insurance policies globally.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage comprehensive insurance operations globally, including policy renewals, documentation, and coverage for professional indemnity, workers’ compensation, marine, directors and officers, and other corporate insurance programs
- Collaborate with Group General Counsel, brokers, and internal teams to report on insurance cover arrangements, premiums, and claims recoveries
- Conduct thorough contract insurance reviews, identifying potential coverage gaps and recommending appropriate policy amendments
- Handle claims management, ensuring timely filing, notification, and maximizing recovery through close coordination with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders
- Perform data analysis and loss prevention, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks
- Provide training and guidance to key stakeholders on insurance claim submission and risk management
- Maintain comprehensive records of insurance covers, policies, premiums, and loss records
- Explore and arrange specialized insurance covers such as war risk, piracy, and business interruption insurance
- Prepare periodic reports and presentations on claims records and insurance performance for senior management
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Insurance from a recognized university
- 3-5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with in-depth knowledge of maritime insurance policies (professional indemnity, Hull and Machinery, marine cargo, liability insurances)
- Strong understanding of insurance terms, conditions, endorsements, and policy structures
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to work confidently across all business levels
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in dynamic, high-pressure environments
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, proactive approach, and adaptability
- Possesses excellent interpersonal skills, with the capability to influence and inspire confidence
- Meticulous, self-motivated, and able to meet tight deadlines with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
