Head of Chartering – Singapore

On behalf of our client, a leading player in the dry bulk sector, we are seeking a commercially astute and visionary Head of Chartering to join their Executive Leadership Team. This rare opportunity places you at the forefront of strategic decision-making, responsible for shaping chartering direction, driving revenue growth, and building meaningful global client relationships. You’ll play a central role advising the Board while leading a high-performing chartering team across multiple segments and markets.
  
In this commercially critical position, you’ll develop and execute forward-thinking strategies aligned with corporate goals, lead business development initiatives, and identify new market opportunities. Your ability to balance commercial growth with risk mitigation, compliance, and team leadership will be instrumental to success. You’ll work cross-functionally with key departments so excellent communication skills and the ability for collaborative working is needed.
  
The ideal candidate brings:

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in a commercial or leadership role within the dry bulk industry.
• A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Maritime, Business, Finance, or a related field.
• A strong global network, sharp commercial acumen, and exceptional leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
