Chartering Manager- Hong Kong

We are currently working with a shipowner in the bulk market that is looking for their next Chartering Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. This position would be primarily responsible for ensuring that the fleet revenue is maximized from out chartering of their assets as well as providing support from an S&P standpoint within the commercial department.
 
This would be a great opportunity for someone with 5-10 years’ experience in a dry chartering function that wants to play a key role in terms of the company’s commercial and marketing activities and maximizing long term value via a successful fleet employment strategy. 
 
This person will have to have strong market awareness and be able to identify opportunities for locking in the best rates for the company’s owned assets. 
 
In order to apply for this role you should have around 5+ years’ chartering experience within the bulk market, preferably gained within a ship owner. Any exposure to the S&P market would be an advantage but someone without should see this as an opportunity to develop some exposure in this area.
 
Candidates should be based or prepared to relocate to Hong Kong
