An established global shipping company is seeking an experienced Bulk Parcel Manager to develop and grow its presence in the Pacific bulk parcel trades. This role involves executing both spot and Contract of Affreightment (COA) cargoes while building strong relationships across the Asia-Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities:
Cargo Development
- Expand the cargo book by identifying and developing new opportunities in the Pacific Parcelling trade lanes
- Evaluate spot and contractual opportunities and manage their execution
- Work on both unitized and dry bulk parcels
Business Development
- Develop and manage all customer relationships in the Pacific parcelling trade lanes
- Build stronger relationships with current key accounts
- Position the company as a partner of choice through strategic relationship management
- Apply industry knowledge: know your customer, competition, and market
Operations Management
- Execute cargo opportunities for both spot market cargoes and longer-term COAs
- Collaborate with Operations, Port Captaincy, and Contractors for seamless execution
- Ensure cargo integrity and customer satisfaction through service delivery excellence
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- University degree strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in MPP or Dry Bulk parcelling
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of chartering terms
- Financial and analytical capabilities
