Marine Insurance Broker – Dubai

An independent marine and logistics insurance intermediary is seeking to strengthen its Middle East office with the addition of an experienced Producing Broker. The firm has built a strong reputation over the past 15+ years and benefits from a strategic international partnership, giving it direct access to the London and Lloyd’s markets while maintaining its independence.
Operating with a lean and collaborative structure of around a dozen specialists, the team prides itself on entrepreneurial thinking, client focus, and the ability to service major accounts across the marine, shipping, and logistics sectors.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and place marine insurance risks with international markets.
• Build and manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring long-term, sustainable relationships.
• Lead negotiations with insurers and reinsurers, structuring coverage to meet client requirements.
• Collaborate with global partners to access wider placement capabilities.
• Contribute to the continued growth and positioning of the business in the Middle East.

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Producing Broker in marine, shipping, or logistics insurance.
• Strong technical knowledge and market network, with the ability to originate and grow business.
• English fluency is essential; regional experience in the Middle East market is advantageous.
• Confident communicator with the ability to navigate an international client and insurer base.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a flat organisational structure.
