Yacht Underwriter – Germany

With a close-knit team of around thirty customer-focused professionals, the business is continuing to grow internationally and is now looking to strengthen its underwriting capability.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Handling enquiries from prospective customers and international partners
• Quoting and underwriting sailing and motor yachts
• Managing and developing relationships with key international clients and partners
• Following up on quotations and supporting placement decisions
• Representing the company at national and international yacht and charter fairs

 
Requirements:

• Completed degree, ideally in economics, insurance, or a related discipline
• Strong interest in water sports or maritime-related topics
• Willingness and ability to understand and contribute to complex underwriting matters
• Fluent English, both written and spoken – German is preferrable but not a must
• Confident, professional communication style with strong interpersonal skills
