Junior Post Fixture Analyst – London

A commercial shipping company is looking to bring in Post Fixture Analyst to their team in London. 
  
Key responsibilities

• Issue invoices for freight, hire, bunkers, demurrage, claims, and reimbursements in line with charterparty terms
• Monitor vessel schedules and payment milestones to ensure timely billing and collection
• Track receivables, follow up on outstanding balances, and escalate overdue cases
• Reconcile incoming payments and maintain accurate records within IMOS
• Process broker commissions and prepare payment instructions for bareboat arrangements
• Coordinate with chartering, operations, compliance, treasury, and accounts teams to resolve discrepancies
• Review charterers’ counters, prepare supporting arguments, and assist in dispute recovery
• Review voyage progress and cargo discharge data to confirm billing accuracy
• Prepare and substantiate voyage-related claims such as laytime, deviation, heating, and performance issues
• Ensure claims are submitted within contractual time bars and supported by documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in post-fixture or commercial shipping operations
• Worked with Bulkers, Tankers, or Gas Carriers
• Working knowledge of charterparty terms and voyage claims
• Proficiency in IMOS and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and deadlines
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Happy to travel internationally
