In this role you will be responsible supervising assigned DSV/MRV contractor staff through subordinate Diving Support Services Supervisors in carrying out diving activities for a wide variety of underwater inspection, repair and maintenance work to offshore structures and facilities.

Naval Architect, UK

Spinnaker has partnered with a leading shipping organisation based in the UK to find a Naval Architect.

You will need to have at least 5 years’ experience as Project Lead for drydockings and Newbuildings, you will have a good working knowledge and solid technical know-how within ship design across all vessel types, supported by detailed working knowledge and understanding of class, flag and other regulatory/statutory requirements.

You will need to have a high level of analytical skills and strategic thinking ability to support decisions with sound reasoning and judgement, together with excellent negotiation skills.

There will also be scope for development in the next 5 years which will include a greater involvement into the New Building and Energy Efficiency sectors /or as a Fleet Manager.

You must possess unrestricted UK working entitlement and be able to travel at short notice.

Senior Legal Counsel - Finance

An internationally recognised shipping company is looking for a senior lawyer to join them in their busy office in Switzerland.

To be considered, you must be a qualified lawyer (UK qualification is an advantage) and have a deep understanding of corporate and/or asset finance.

You will need to be someone who can demonstrate ability to drive change and must have a strong shipping acumen. It is essential that you can work well within a busy team and will need to have a strong English Language skills. Individuals who also speak French will be at an advantage.

Tax Manager, Germany

Your role will be to analyse tax implications related to their international business, working with the senior management team in the support of business critical decisions.

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified lawyer to work in-house for this private client dealing with a wide variety of contracts centred around yachts and superyachts.

To be considered, you must be a lawyer with contract experience in the shipping sector. Previous yacht/superyacht experience will certainly be advantageous. Please note, that candidates do not need to be UK qualified for this, however substantial UK law experience is required.

Reporting to the CFO, this international organise seek an individual to oversee and direct the shipping accounting functions; accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury and credit department across Canada.

Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, the implementation and monitoring of AP, AR, general ledger and credit. You will have overall supervision and accountability of the FI department; ensuring cost is controlled and revenue is collected.

You will manage day-to-day employee relations in the department as well as liase with external auditors and global head office.

You will also be a “SAP Key User” for training and system optimisation within the department.
