In this role you would be reporting into the Regional Head of Chartering in Singapore and will be focused on building the company’s presence in the region and negotiating profitable fixtures of their assets. as this company has a global team it will be important to communicate well with the rest of the Chartering team to ensure the team is kept informed with activity.

This role would suit a strong business developer and someone that is able to develop strong relationships with Charterers and would be best suited to a Charterer that already has a presence in the Capesize or potentially the Panamax market.

Ideally you’ll be currently working withing an Owner/ Operator but the role could also potentially suit a Broker with the right mindset to transition to the Principal side. Ideally for this role you will have 5-10 years experience and be based in Singapore although our client can also look at relocating the right candidate.
