In this newly created role, within an existing international team, you will be able to work under pressure with flexibility, to short, intense deadlines. You will be expected to be able to put together outstanding marketing campaigns on behalf of internal stakeholders for reasons such as luxury vessels available for charter. Listening skills are critical for this role to be able to deliver perfection on these requests.

In this highly responsive role, you will be responsible for constant revamping of social media platforms. Therefore, you will have proven expereince in digital, social media marketing from a business perspective.

You will be organised and able to work under pressure as you will be responsible for the organisation and managing of events. Mainstream media and high-ranking media will be coming to you for interesting content. Therefore you will be diligent and professional in your ability to handle and progress these enquiries.

Production of content, and translation of information will be required. Therefore, English language skills, both spoken and written will be of a very high standard. Additional languages such as French or Italian will be highly advantageous. With an eye for detail, you will also be responsible for the oversight of corporate gifts, branded stationary and other marketing collateral.

Expereince with working in an environment where understanding high-end, luxury goods and lifestyles would be highly advantageous.

Dry Dock Superintendent

Spinnaker is currently working on the opportunity to work with a globally-leading marine services provider as a Dry Dock Superintendent, based in the Netherlands.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring the smooth r dry-docking of a number of vessels maintaining budgets in a cost-effective manner. You will report directly to the Technical Manager and work in close cooperation with the Operations department, to ensure the technical status of the fleet is maintained and vessels comply with all regulations.

Suitable candidates should have sailed to at Chief Engineer and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a shore based position with extensive dry dock management experience.

Our client is looking for a candidate who is willing to travel frequently for their role. Candidates should be fluent in both Dutch and English.

EU working entitlement is required.

Sales Executive, London

A growing business in London is seeking a Sales Executive to target the Maritime and Commodity markets with their collaborative workflow and data intelligence platform.

Being responsible for inbound business, lead generation and lead qualification you will be integral to developing and maintaining customer relationships.

As Sales Executive you will develop and execute key strategies for revenue growth.

Ultimately, you will be looking to create an amazing customer experience, working closely with the Customer Success team to solve any issues and ensure smooth product implementation.

With focus on the U.K market, you will ideally be based in the South East of England. Remote working is an option yet you must be U.K based.

As an individual you will be commercially minded and detail oriented.

You could have experience in software sales, looking to move into the maritime industry. You could be looking for a change from you customer facing maritime position into SaaS.

PR Consultant, Singapore

Their business is in the logistics, maritime and insurance industry.

This role would suit somebody with prior exposure to B2B marketing,
communications or event management.

You will be working closely with their global clientele, collaborating with other international office to deliver the highest quality services which will include planning, researching and developing PR strategies for campaigns.

On a daily basis you will be working closely with the media, building relationships and answering enquiries. Researching, writing and distributing press releases and content writing for social media platforms.

You will be creative, be able to work autonomously in this busy environment and be comfortable with taking and writing briefs, along with managing project content for e-newsletters and customer magazines.

We are currently working with a world leading drybulk owner/operator who is looking for a Marine Accounting Manager to join hire desk in their office based in Singapore.

In this role you will be responsible for calculating hire statements for the time charter, checking and paying brokerage commissions and preparing final hire statements and balancing accounts with owners and charterers, as well as other ad hoc tasks.

The perfect candidate will have a relevant degree in maritime studies and more than 2 years’ experience working in a similar role. Local candidates will have a distinct advantage.

Commercial Manager- Houston

Senior Claims Executive, Greece

An IG P&I Club is looking for a Senior Claims Executive for their personal injury team.

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for the Greek office crew and personal injury caseload and will be supported by a Claims Executive and the wider team.

It is essential therefore that you have at least a few years personal injury claims experience, which must come from a marine environment. Those individuals with previous Club experience will be at an advantage.

This role comes with a high level of responsibility and you will help run Member seminars and training events as well as present at Club board meetings as required. At all times you must be able to liaise effectively with the Club’s London office

Greek language skills are also ideal, albeit not essential for this position.

Operations Manager- Singapore

We are currently working with a Owner/ Operator in the drybulk market with a large diverse fleet of bulk vessels being managed from their offices in Europe and Singapore. They are currently in the process of hiring for an Operations Manager to join their team in Singapore to work alongside their existing Ops Manager.

This is a great opportunity to join a closely knit Singapore team working closely with their CEO who is also Singapore based. For this role they are ideally looking for a dynamic Operator that can work in a fast paced environment with exposure to all parts of operations.

For this role you will ideally have around 5+ years experience in bulk operations ideally gained in an Owner/ Operator environment. Less experienced Operators that have strong potential can also be considered.

We are currently in the process of hiring for a Head of Tonnage for a global Operator in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Charterer/ Broker well connected in the tonnage market to be based in our client’s Singapore office heading a small team.

Ideally this person will be well established in the Supramax/ PMX markets with a proven track record and strong network on the the tonnage side. Preferably this person will have some experience working in an Operating environment but an experienced Broker would also be a good fit with the right experience.

As this person will be heading up a small team focused on the tonnage side it would be ideal if this person has some previous mgmt experience but it isn’t a prerequisite for the role.

Our client is a global Operator in the Bulk market with several offices internationally. This particular vacancy is within their Singapore office and they are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to manage a small team.

You will be the lead Operator in the Singapore office reporting into the Global Head of Operations and providing support to a more junior Operator in the team. It will be essential that you have vast experience in bulk vessel operations ideally gained in an owner/ operator environment across vessel sizes.

An International Group P&I Club is looking for a Senior Claims Handler to join their busy London office.

In this role, you will be handling a variety of claims, including FD&D work. You must be able to provide effective claims handling and advice to Members in accordance with the Claims Department’s guidelines and procedures.

You will ideally be a UK qualified Solicitor and if not you will need to be able to demonstrate extensive FD&D claims handling experience, ideally within another P&I Club. Candidates from both a Club and Private Practice background will be considered.

Trainee Solicitor - in-house

A very exciting opportunity has arisen for an LPC graduate looking for a Training Contract.

This position is with an international shipping company who are looking to take on just such an individual on a two year contract that will ultimately lead to qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales. This position is based primarily in mainland Europe but could involve part of the training contract spent in London.

In this role, you will gain exposure to contentious shipping matters, commercial contracts, corporate matters and transactional/ship finance work.

To be considered for this position it is essential that you have completed your LPC and also achieved a 2.1 or above at undergraduate degree level from a Top 20 UK University. Anyone with previous paralegal experience will be at an advantage, however this is not essential.

You must be ambitious and willing to learn, whilst being versatile and a good team player. Excellent attention to detail and an ability to solve problems and find solutions is essential.
